DESCRIPTION: The Northern Ranch Offering is basically the portion of Rancho Dos Pueblos north of Highway 101. It rests on a narrow coastal shelf between the Highway and the Los Padres National Forest, which forms the northern boundary. Mountain ridges rise to an elevation of about 1,300 feet in an area adjoining the forest, generally being the highest elevations on the ranch.

It is a huge parcel forming an irregular rectangle approximately three and one half miles deep, running to each side of Dos Pueblos Canyon. The year-round Dos Pueblos creek winds down through this canyon from the top of the property all through the ranch. Beautiful features abound, ranging from open grassy meadows to thick stands of majestic oaks and sycamores, to large knolls with panoramic ocean views.

Agriculture on the ranch includes avocados, cherimoyas, and macadamia orchards, and there is a cattle lease over a portion of the ranch. There are five residences on the ranch and numerous barns and support structures.

Since it was first spotted by Juan Cabrillo and his crew in 1542, the lush scenery and aesthetics of this ranch have had a profound effect on those that have passed her way.

With spectacular scenery and views, incredible history, active agriculture and close proximity to Santa Barbara, this portion of Rancho Dos Pueblos could become a magnificent estate.

UTILITIES: Power and telephone are available on the property.

DIRECTIONS TO THE PROPERTY: The property is easily accessed off of Highway 101 at the Dos Pueblos exit. However, since this is a working ranch, please do not attempt to enter it on your own. Call our office at (805) 682-3242 and we will be happy to make arrangements.
